what boxers are you friends with on FB?

I'm not a facebook guy, but I'm friends with Danny Garcia on PS3. I beat him in a game of fightnight. I haven't played him on PS4.

 

Sugar Shay, and several others. (but he's the one with whom I've interacted the most)

 

Whatever you say about the pros and cons of social media, it is pretty neat that you can have the chance to interact with these guys when realistically you mightn't have the chance to otherwise.

Even without the advent of social networking sites per se, the internet has been great for that worldwide connectivity and bringing the culture of celebrity back down to earth so that sports figures and the likes seem more human than in older times. We had Darnell Wilson, Tony Bellew, and Curtis Woodhouse for a time posting on this very forum. Some others too, but those guys were really active. (Woodhouse still might be, actually)

Yep, and I'd be surprised if other fighters, promoters and commentators don't scan these forums from time to time.
