Very good win because it would be against a cheater who fakes injuries and uses illegal tactics as well as a PED user.
Solid win, but not surprising. The only thing I wondered was whether Kovalev might get impatient and sloppy. Hopkins has done this numerous times. He brings the fight down to a snail's pace, the opponent gets impatient and exposes himself. Kovalev proved too cagey to let this happen, although a younger Hopkins would have made Kovalev pay more, I am sure.
Completely meaningless. Even though I think Kovalev beats any version of Bhop, the Bhop he fought was a very old man. Right away I could see his movement was stiff and slow, his reflexes were shot, and he had no trigger left. I can't stand Hopkins, and I really like Krusher, but that was just an old man in the ring.
oh now hopkins is old excuses excuses what happened you thought hopkins would school kovalev lol you mad I bet.deal with it you shithead.:deal
Its a very good win. You can say all this now, but the bottom line is Hop was beating other top fighters and was a title holder (which is just another phrase for top contender).Kovalev came in and did what he had to do. That he won isnt surprising, its that he shut him out pretty much. Even if Hopkins got old over night no one expected that. Credit should be given for a very good win.
