Seems like a decent topic, considering the pay days Al can provide, Hopkins seems to be clued up enough to understand this... Any particular reason?

Nard goes against the grain.....always has. He's done alright for himself even though he has spoken his mind and burned a few bridges on the way up.

Hopkins had been friends with Haymon for a long time - I guess he just figure he's happy doing his own thang and don't need no extra guys taking commissions or calling the shots for him.

That would be an odd arrangement being that Hopkins fights out of his own management company, is a GBP Vice President and is alsso in charge of GBP east coast operations.
Seems to me there just may be 2-3 conflict of interest concerns if BHOP was signed by Haymon.

If anyone knows anything about Hopkins' history, he always preferred to manage himself. He constantly spoke about it in press conferences as well.

At this point in Hopkins career he's looking for the biggest fights that pay the most money and that do something for his legacy. Haymon's contracts are way too restrictive. He has 100% say in who his fighters step in the ring with. Seeing as how Haymon has problems with Top Rank and other promoters Hopkins wouldn't have as many options for fights as he does right now.

Really?, that's what your brain came up with?. Fighters signing with a well proven manager who only brings them the best fight, deals, money and general recognition are "sheep"?

    yes
well proven go and tell that to freddy hernadez when he fought berto go look at the pay differance seriously

everyman and his dog are flocking to haymon where from how i see it roc nation of late seem to offer the best money and as for general recognition  dirrell left then came back and is still irrelevant , and yeah man city provide some of the best contracts you really think they would have the squad they have without that money , if jay z gets serious with it trannymon will be shitting his panties
