b-hop wins first 2 rds with better tactics but starts to feel the effects of kovalevs power by the 3rd rd. middle rds get pretty even with kovalev connecting power shots and b-hop landing sneaky counters. b-hop starts to slow down as the effects of the punishment he is taking start to wear him down. corner throws in the towel in the 9th to save b-hop from serious damage.

I can already see what will happen if...........

Hopkins wins.... Kovalev was just a hype job was way over rated

Kovalev wins.... He just beat up a 50 year old man Krusher Kovalev the new King.

I just look for a good fight with the best man on the night getting the win.
I pray there is no controversy . Now there is only one more thing to say

Kovalev between the 7th & 9th rounds either by KO or DQ although Hopkins could always pull out with an injury to try to force a no contest

A massive step up in class for Kovalev. Of course, he has utterly devastating power, but he is facing one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time.

Hopkins has faced a long list of superior boxers (Roy Jones in his prime, Glenn Johnson, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Jermain Taylor, Calzaghe, Chad Dawson) and a few with comparable power (Trinidad, Pavlik, Pascal).

Kovalev has fought nobody remotely on the same level as any of those opponents. His only chance is to land one of his knockout shots, but he is mostly going to be made to hit nothing and countered cleanly for his troubles.

The gigantic gulf in experience outweighs age in this case; and let's also not forget...Hopkins will never let a white boy beat him. Hopkins by decision.

I can't put it any better than what John David Jackson said in HBO's pre-fight show ( paraphrasing JDJ ): Once Bernard feels Sergei's power he's going to think "what in the hell have I gotten myself into".

Hopkins checks out with an "injury" to avoid getting KO'd. Still, Kovalev wins via TKO (injury).

I went to high school with an Irish kid from Philly. In P.E. we would break out into groups and play different games, e.g. basketball, etc. One day, after gym class, he barged into the locker room and exclaimed triumphantly, "We wan!"

Based on everyone's predictions, and mine (I gots Kovalev by decision, winning just about every round. Hopkins might get one or two at the most.) I think I can safely say, "I wan!"
