he tried to go for broke but came up quite short. Mayweather just sucks balls. Mayweather just ran, literally ran from Chino in the 12th.

Respect. What a chin and heart. Nobody will complain in 25 years. People will miss Hopkins when he will retire. Mayweather on the other hand...

Ya i actually did think of mays 12th round against maidana after the hops fight.

Here you had a 49 year old in with a life changing puncher whos beaten him up for 12 rounds and he didnt cower away like mayweather did that last round....

    Hopkins is the man.

A 49 Years Old in Hopkins still fighting like a true warrior and exchanging punches in the 12th round while you have Mayweather who literally RAN in the 12th round.

Also big DRAMA on Maidana's bite with mouth guard on Mayweather's hand with Hand wraps & Gloves.

I came in expecting a B-hop thread, and instead its just a bunch of mayweather hate. Is that all you clowns talk or think about, if you hate the guys boxing so much why is he on your mind so often? Mayweather was ahead in the 12th in both Maidana fights why would he be the one trying to make the fight and risking it all trying to score a knock out?

B-Hop did try to find a knockdown or knockout in the 12th because he was down so so far it was his only hope, if not trying to win why continue to fight? Kovalev almost krushed Hopkins after he stuck his tongue out at him. I believe I saw Hopkins even look to the ref for help at one point with about 15-20 seconds left. It very well could have been stopped in those last seconds.

    Okay, I'll bite.

I found myself hoping he would do something... anything... instead of just surviving. He does deserve respect, though, for making it through when others have not.

What I did like very much was the fact that he seemed real after the fight and proved himself a gracious loser. Props- definitely- for that.

It's a bit creepy that every thread that isn't about Mayweather, turns into a thread about Mayweather. You dudes have a Floyd fettish. Frickin stalkers....

And, Hopkins was down 11 rounds to 0. He had to go for broke. Mayweather had a clear victory in the bag.

This is typical of Hopkins. He always does this. He turns it up a notch in the last round of all of his fights, after sitting dormant for the previous 9 or 11 rounds. He would have done more if he could have last night but he doesn't have it anymore.

Why not concentrate in the greatness of Hopkins and a job well done in Koehler, instead of bringing Floyd into every topic. The only reason you are comparing both is because of their color of their skin.

    Props ?

    A fight is 12 rds, not 1.

He did next to nothing for 11 rds; Kovalev had to chase him around the ring, or there would have been no fight.

And how did he go out in the 12 ?
He was covering for dear life and too afraid to punch back for 80% of that rd.

Had he done this earlier, he would have been stopped.

Well...that was his only chance. Floyd had the fight won. Big difference.

It's true, he has a great chin, but these punches have cumulative damage and it looks like he survived any major issues.
Like I said, Ali had a great chin, too . Let's not celebrate yet
    I'm glad Hop is healthy
