you missed MikeW? lol speaking of Grampa Hoppy, he has a good chin, but Kova's right hand made that chin on the brink of Amirland. Genavkin would totally break that cracked glass, Ward would retire Hoppy and give him a place in oakland retirement home, which btw is ward's present job right now that he's hiding from Genavkeen
:thumbsup I was impressed as Bhop took some brutal power shots from the Mad Russian:tomb Shots that would KO most younger dudes out there today. Bhop took the shots and I was impressed with his interview as well:good:cheers :smoke
solid mandible but I think the largest part of Hopkins durability is his ability to move and to turtle-up and avoid being hit on the parts of the anatomy that can cause a KO.
Hopkins has hit the floor 3 times in his career I believe. But if his chin isn't diamond, its definitely granite at the least. Legendary for sure.
Grown men chatting ****. I mean, do we even need a thread discussing Bhops chin, is there any debate? Yet some are even attempting it. A 49 year old man took flush punches against a powerful prime LH Kov, yet he stayed on his feet and even fought back a couple of times. Kov fought a great fight, got his game plan 100% correct, he even tried to get Hops out but couldn't. Hops shows his balls in this fight. Big up respect. Kov probably goes down as one of the most powerful LHW in history, no question.
you watch too many hollywood superman type movies... REALISE : ALL HUMANS CAN GET KNOCKED DOWN or OUT! Hopkins has a brilliant brilliant chin!
Oliver McCall has the best punch resistance Ive ever seen. Lewis couldn't even hurt him while McCall wasn't even looking. Theres a reason he was repeatedly chief sparring partner for a peak Tyson.
I don't know, maybe acting like a heavy bag for 1 of the hardest hitting heavyweights out there without flinching. Even i was yelling at the tv for the fight to get stopped.
