In watching this last fight with Hopkins I got to thinking , Bhops basically risked his boxing life to give the fans what they wanted !
He knowingly knew the risks and like any true warrior he forged ahead ..

Did it end well no ! Did he get paid well yes ..But in the end he maintained a certain level of respect and dared to be great ..

Who else has sacrificed themselves to give the fans what they wanted ??

Hopkins went after the fight because he wanted to challenge himself and felt he could win. He didn't "sacrifice" himself....

He spent 11 rounds not engaging, hoping for a late lucky punch.

It the same thing many ESB folks laughed David Haye and Eddie Chambers (both of whom were giving up almost 35 pounds in the ring) off the map for doing against Klitschko. Is it your opinion that they too 'sacrificed' themselves 'daring to be great' like 'true warriors'?

BHop gets his props, but keep it realistic.

Bernard Hopkins is a REAL legitimate ATG A true warrior a true legend
We are so lucky to be able to witness his accomplishments LIVE!!!!
If only the cowardly cretin who laughingly calls himself TBE had one tenth the courage & yes The BALLS that Bernard possesses he might be worthy of being called a champion

Tyson stayed in the ring with Lennox even though he knew he was ****ed after Lennox hit him with that massive uppercut in round one that hurt him.
Vitali Klitschko wanted to keep fighting with half of his face hanging off.
