    What do you think?

He is too strong and technical for Kovalev

He beat Kovalev in the amateurs, so don't see why he can't now.

The amateurs and pros are completely different ball games, that's silly thinking. Audley Harrison beat Sam Peter in the amateurs, who do you think would have won in the pros?

Again with the one fight hype machines.
    Reminds me of Pirog.
Gets a decent win and suddenly everyone is afraid and whatnot. :dead

Much too early for Beterbiev to challenge Sergey. Cloud was clearly done as a fighter when Beterbiev smashed him. Let him hone his craft with some top 7 to 15 lightheavyweights and he may give Sergey a good fight down the line. Kovalov looked incredible against Hopkins. A much better all round boxer than most power punchers as they count on the knockout and never get great defensively. The guy outboxed Hopkins both on the outside and on the inside. As Roy Jones said, as he beat Hopkins to the punch when they were dirty boxing on the inside, "he is out Hopkinsing Bernard Hopkins".

I can see Kovalev ducking Beterbeiv. Beterbeiv's already KTFO Kovalav twice in the amateurs

Yes against opponent who did not want to fight and flee a powerful blow. It's easy when an opponent a scare and slow

They fought each other twice, once in the Russian nationals where Beterbiev won a razor-close 25-24 decision, and as far as I'm aware the other was also a points win for Beterbiev too. I presume you have some proof to back up your claim?

Well done on picking out a rare boxer that fits what you want to say. I'll choose Rigondeaux, Andre Ward, Luke Campbell, ODLH, Khan, Lennox Lewis, we can go back further, RJJ, Foreman & Frazier.

I think plenty of very successful amateurs go on to do the business in the pro ranks.

Regardless of what I think (I didn't say he would beat him either) he's got all the attributes, I think I saw Bradley Saunders 'big him up' on twitter the other day too.

The guy is superb, but Kovalev has stolen a march on him in the pro ranks for sure.

Poor Audley if they ever fought as pros...! Only the most blind Harrison fan would dare think Aidley would make it out of the first few rounds.

Do you remember I knocked you out in the AMs twice, and you were doing the chicken dance before you fell on your head, That was funny, na only joking I beat you my 2 points on each bout, it was a close fight could of gone either way.
