Late? I'd be surprised if he took more than a round or two longer than Klitschko. (and wouldn't be surprised if he did it even faster)
I'd love to see Takam/Jennings... Question is, does Jennings want to fight Wlad now, or wait a bit? :think
Stiverne's best win is Arreola? Arreola lost to Ademek. How they were even fighting for a world title was hilarious.
David Haye. I can't believe how all of you Hayeters are completely blinded by your hate for the man. If a rusty Haye were to come back tomorrow, he would flatten both Povetkin and Pulev back to back with ease.
Fury would get chinned. Chisora aint got the ability ala Pulev Povetkin Allready proved he has not got the game and Wlad would grab all night long AGAIN So I guess I have to go with Stiverne But the funny thing is ONE punch can end a fight and all of them can punch, not all of them can take a PUNCH
I'd bank on a mid-late KO for Povetkin, these days he gets stronger as the fight goes on. Charr, and Takam knockouts were in the 7th, and 10th respectively.
Povetkin, and his jaw is granite unlike Pulev's, he wrestled 12 rounds with Wlad and took a few good shots too.
No way Pulev falls that low. I agree Povetkin is clearly the #1 contender, Stiverne probably behind him. Jennings doesn't rank higher than Pulev, neither does Fury. The reasons are following: 1) Pulev was established as the #1 contender after Povetkin was defeated. It wasn't like Fury or Jennings had any claim on that. 2) Jennings' rating is based on beating 1 prospect and 1 contender. Not enough to pass Pulev by default. 3) Fury has more depth, but hasn't really defeated a top contender. Also not enough to pass the established top contender by default. Stiverne probably does go up to #2 behind Sasha, but the belt he possesses contributes to that a lot. Beating a fringe contender and then Arreola twice may or may not be enough to elevate him that high under usual circumstances . It's debatable. Glazkov is barely top 10 (not that he really deserves that to begin with) and has zero claim to be rated above Pulev.
Still Pulev is in #2 spot, only reason he got KOed was beacause of his aggressiv style oddly enough in this fight against Klitschko! .....he had no clue what awaited him....... Wlad is definitely a legend, a true king in the heavyweight!
Chisora would beat Arreola. He's a much better contender than him. He sure took the same Vitali the distance and put a much better showing. Fury already beat him. He'll beat him again.
Clearly not a Takam. Stiverne, Fury and Jennings all deserve to rank higher than Takam and have more good wins on their resume. Pulev should be ranked higher than Takam too, in fact, he has beaten more credible opponents, and never lost to jorneyman like Gregory Tony.
I meant third best actual heavyweight, not "who deserves to be ranked 3rd by this or that org based on what they happen to have on their resume". I would certainly favor Takam over Stiverne or Fury, although maybe not outright favorite over Pulev.
