lewis killed rahman, so no I don't. how do I feel about prime rahman lying koed on the canvas inside a few rounds? I FEEL GREAT.
You must feel great about Wlad being wiped out in seconds by corrie then eh?

the rahman who killed prime sanders, that is. who shot2**** killed wald in seconds. See? Don't bring a knife to a tommygun fight.

prime sanders was stopped by rahman, and shot2**** sanders obliterated wlad, and lewis obliterated rahman.

that's all there is to it.

What's all this about Sanders having amazing power?

He landed everything he had on Rahmans glass jaw but couldn't stop him.

Sanders was a southpaw with somewhat decent hand speed, but he had average power, a not so great chin, was extremely one dimensional, he just did the same thing over and over again trying to land his counter left and when that didn't work he was clueless. He was also more interested in playing golf than boxing.

If you know anything about the Kovalev story and how he almost gave up on boxing to go back to Russia to find a job.......

Sanders gave up on boxing in like 05 when he couldnt get signed to a decent promoter. He simply lingered in the club circuit, taking big fights for short money since he was always hanging in the top 15 of the ABCs.

Had he been smart and moved to GB to train, he couldve signed on with F-wANK or another large UK promoter and really made an impact.

I think guys like Lewis and Tyson woulda likely beaten him, but he'd have gotten thru the Mercers, Tuas, and Byrds and hung around the top 10 from about 95-05.:think

Douglas did less than Sanders? When did Sanders become undisputed heavyweight champion like Douglas beating an ATG in his physical prime?

Nobody ducked Sanders either he was a fringe contender, nobody rated him prior to the Wlad fight, which is why they put him in against Wlad.

    No.

I love this myth of Sanders that grows and grows as time goes on.

He was a journeyman.. nothing more, nothing less.

I think that's being a little harsh. He was a bit more than a journeymen he was a dangerman because of his power but he definitely wasn't seen as a top contender at the time. The losses to Tubbs and an out of shape Rahman basically showed his real level. The Wlad fight was a real gift to him he had a very flawed fighter in front of him that night and benefited greatly because of it.

    His power is vastly over-rated.

He spent the vast majority of his career fighting tomato cans, and still had a relatively low KO%.

He could obviously punch, he was a heavyweight.. but nothing like the Kilt fans will have you believe.

if he hadn't fought the K bros, no one inside planet klittard would know his name.

whereas today, having fought both Ks, no one outside planet klittard isn't sure hes not that bug eyed black guy Corey.

Sanders biggest passions were laying around the pool, playing golf, and
    hunting on his game preserve...

and he was reportedly laying by the pool when the call came to make
    100,000 bucks destroying Waldo...

He had to pack his stuff and head to Germany...
