Obviously, Benn. He annihilated DeWitt and Barkley on the Broadwalk and the Strip, knocked out Robbie Sims (Hagler's half-brother) for the first time in his career and climbed back into the ring after 30 seconds at the count of 9 to send the G-Man into a wheelchair. And he beat Eubank at Old Trafford (Theatre of Dreams).
Benn may have the best resume but Eubank was the better boxer and no I don't think Benn beat him the 2nd fight either. The Watson fight wrecked Eubank but I'll always hold him in high regard.
There's no question that Eubank was a class or two above Benn (and Collins, but why even mention him) in boxing ability. But that wasn't the question.
Eubank: Benn, Calzaghe, Watson, Collins, Wharton Benn: Eubank, Collins, McClellan, Barkley, DeWitt To me the names looks kinda even stevens but Benn won big in the USA whereas Eubank beat Benn I call it a SD for the Dark Destroyer
That's interesting because Calzaghe and Collins beat Eubank and Collins beat Benn. Eubank: Benn, Watson x 2, Rocchigiani Benn: Barkley, DeWitt, Sims, McClellan, Eubank 2 Thornton and Holmes were competent but not a Toney, McClellan or Jones.
Collins is vastly underappreciated on this website.....people seem to hate him for beating gunshy versions of Benn and Eubank but he beat them fair and square Looking at it now Eubank probably fought the bigger names whether he won or lost but Benn beat most of the bigger names on his record so thats why i'll still edge for Nigel Benn
