Who hits harder? Adonis Stevenson or Julian Jackson

Stevenson has power at LHW, Julian Jackson fought at LMW/MW.

P4P though, I'd venture Jackson the harder puncher.

 

Probably Adonis in that case. Who do you think hits harder. Dennis lebedev or Adonis Stevenson. 20lb weight difference.

 

Lebedev can whack alright. One of the harder hitting cruisers. Adonis left hand is atomic but his all round power isn't huge, I don't think I've seen him ko people with right hooks yet maybe I'm wrong.

 

As an obvious kovalev fan, I'll admit that stevensons left hand is a very hard punch. You neutralise that, and he's not very good.

 

julian jackson is in top 5 for hardest punchers in pretty much everyones list

 

Easy to overlook that JJs highlight reels consist of 90% nobodies. Obviously the guy could punch but it's not like he was knocking out guys like Hopkins or Toney month in month out.

OTOH Stevenson ain't usually separating guys from their senses with one punch KOs (Dawson excepted) in the way JJ would.

I think I'd have go with Stevenson as the bigger guy, though there's no real way of telling.

Will be interesting to see what he can do with Sukhotski though - he's another like Edwards, George, Cloud and Bellew who'd never been stopped before fighting Stevenson.

Logic would say the hard hitting natural light heavy hits harder than the natural light middle.

Impossible to say really though. We never saw Jackson face men as big as Stevenson and who's to say he couldn't spark out much bigger men, his power was scary, he just put people to sleep when he connected.

 

common sense..of course stevenson hes in a heavier division, that why we have weight divisions in boxing..p4p though, u know the answer..

 

I really think stevensons power is slightly overrated. He one shotted Dawson with a shot on the temple and stopped bellew who is domestic level at best. Look at how fonfara and cloud took his best shots.
