I have read autobiographies from Ricky Hatton, Johnny Nelson and Joe Calzaghe.

Hatton's, as you would expect, is full of humour and tales of his earlier fights, and tells of his dislike for the general celebrity culture in the UK. He also offers his opinion on a number of his British compatriots, such as Amir Khan and Joe Calzaghe. I would give it 7/10

The Calzaghe book is a book full of bitterness at his lack of big opportunities, both at domestic and international level, though at times is humourous, especially when talking about the relationship between him and his father, and also his Italian ancestory. I would give it 6/10.

The best, by far, is Johnny Nelson. A story of a guy who rose from a very tough upbringing, crap amateur career, losses in his first three fights and two shocking world title fights to become a champion and defend the belt several times. Also details his mateships with Herol Graham and Naseem Hamed (and eventual falling out!) and of his mentor, Brendan Ingle.

Most certainly worth a read, 9/10.

Just finished Chris Eubanks autobiography .... suprisingly very good and you come out with a huge respect for the guy (even if sometimes he is just plain bizzare!)
Now reading 'The Last Great Fight' about the Tyson v Douglas bout ....
