    from not throwing right hands

    to showboating

to staying on the ropes for full rounds literally 3 or 4 rounds later,

dont want to sound paranoid, but there was definatley bizarre going ons with that tonight

I was shouting at the box, saying throw a ****ing punch, bellew was knackered himself. you dont sit on the ropes not trying to land at all. that was pathetic showing by both men, but if cleverly could land a few he could of nicked the last few rounds. His right hand broken? **** it, i think id still throw. Id rather throw a light right hand then have to go 10rounds with a broken jaw as ricky did. :good

Yes very odd!!! Two things happened either his right hand genuinely was not injured which is terrible news for clev because it pretty much looks like he was terrified to throw it with intent in fear of being countered. If this is the case he's not got over what kov did to him at all and don't know if he ever will.

If his hand was injured and he's just being a man about it and denying it then fair enough kind of explains it.

Apparently no injury was sustained according to tweets from sky sports

Cleverly has always struggled to throw technically correct right hands from long to mid range. He only ever landed cuffing rights or hooks up close. He just got exposed with being at a higher weight and not being able to use his volume to cover the cracks.

I suspect there was some funny business going on behind the scenes with that fight.

Didn't see one proper punch thrown by either fighter, was arm punches all night and cleverly not letting the right hand go at all.....very suspicious

Cleverly seemed happy to lose. So much for a 'grudge match'.

I'd clocked it by round 6... even before they both started to stay on the ropes and do **** all.

Said to my younger bro these two are blagging it for a 3rd fight, and low and behold both of the muppets start waffling about the millenium stadium after the fight, I was embarrassed when they said that.

But yeah, looked blag as **** if ya ask me, and not even hard to see that they blagged it. Some of those arm punches were **** poor, holding back to fooking death.

Yep I noticed fairly on too, mainly when Cleverly was countering Bellew but not throwing the right even though he was there to be hit with it every time he threw a jab. Even Bellew looked like he was holding something back when he was letting his hands go

Again I'm not saying it was a fix just something fishy about the whole thing. Not that I bought the rivalry bit anyway but the way they acted in the interview at the end seemed like they knew all night that was going to happen

Thankfully I think it will backfire as I don't know of a single person who would want to see them two go at it again

I said before the fight, clev only will win aslong as the kovalev fight hadn't messed with his mind, looks like it has?

If they were fixing it for a third fight surely to God they'd have put a bit more effort in. If they'd been, say, throwing bombs for six rounds before Cleverly went down exhausted there would have been a call for a third fight but no way on earth would it sell it anything more than a sports centre now.

I think Cleverley has totally lost interest in his boxing career and was honestly there just for the pay day, hence why he hardly threw and didn't give a **** in the last couple of rounds
