Refused to buy a card of one sided mismatches and a hyped up fight between two bang average fighters- so I haven't heard what Hearn has had to say in response. Any links?

To be fair to Eddie he's not trying to defend either fighter which is refreshing

I honestly think after watching that how could he defend it?

The hype and programming Sky put on to build the fight he would of known it really failed as a main event.

Looks like he's just relieved it's all over, he knew he was selling a dud all along.

The Frampton fight will never happen. No talk of Cruz or Rigo either!

Quigg and Hearn can f*ck off with this nonsense.

Seems like the hardest working Dude last evening(and all week for that matter) was Kugan and IFLTV.
He was everywhere and worked his butt off.Eddie got full value out of him.:good

If that fight had ignited like we all hoped it would it may have softened the blow, sadly it was a one sided stinker.

I think the fight itself came to early for a decent card to support it to be put together. A little more time for the likes of Callum Smith to be brought along into a more meaningful fight ie Rocky Fielding, Stephen Smith involved, AJ in something a bit more challenging. Kevin Mitchell is due a world title fight which coulda been chief support.

Instead we had Callum Smith in tough run but expected win (the level AJs fight would be had Hearn sat on the Bellew/Clev for a bit)
Groves and Degale in keep busys with a lot of spin
    MehDonnel fighting WBzzzz world title
Quigg fighting: not Frampton, Santa Cruz or Rigodeaux
AJ completing phase one in a step which coulda easily been s****ped as we all knew full well what was coming.

I know strike while the irons hot and all that but Bellew/Cleverly had the hype behind it to let it sizzle into the new year in order to progress other fighters along to make this the card Hearn promised.

If you set aside the domestic fights on Boxnation in 2014, this Bellend v Clev card and the £16.95 PPV charge must go down as the worst value for money seen.

Eddie has done the impossible this year!

Biggest UK fight in history & the worst British card in 10+ years.
