You forgot to mention the 11 second count in rd 9. :rofl Li'l Floyd gets a bubble in his colon and a shyte-stain on his drawers at the very thought of fighting Pac.
And Marcos "would've" beaten Floyd had the ref let them fight on the inside.atsch Are we just throwing up bullsh*t? Is that the tone of this thread?
I like how the OP says "I'm not saying Chris would have won…" but the title of the post is "how a referee can screw up a fighter's career".
When pac fought barrera the first time, barrera was credited a knockdown which was obviously a slip. But, did not lose his concentration and went on to dominate barrera.
Yep, he cheated Pac of a knockout. Algieri wasn't truly up at 10. Then Pac brings it to finish and the ref interrupts it with a standing count, then steps in again like he is waving it off and Pac backs off ... two interferences and a slow count can really screw up a fighter's knock out percentage. Terrible ref. There's a difference between giving a fighter the benefit of the doubt and interposing yourself twice in the action and using body language that gets one fighter to back off because it LOOKS like you are waving off the fight.
the 4th kd was an actual real kd that chris got hurt the rest were slips or pushed down. chris went all 12 rounds and this guy was supposed to get out of there in 6 rds to a light punching guy. glad i didnt buy this fight what a joke.
If changed the whole fight obviously! You gotta be new to boxing if you don't see how damaging that is to a fighter who was sticking to his gameplan and doing ok. That ref was so pro-pac it wasn't even funny.
