Callum Smith is special

I rarely come on this forum due to having to listen to absolutely braindead threads such as this.

How anybody can dig out Callum for that performance taking everything into account beggars belief.

He could win a world title within 18months defend it 5 times and you idiots will still dig him out.

He looked good, but I'm a bit worried about his defense... Lots of potential though, nothing that can't be fixed.

 

Looked very, very beatable, I thought, especially when going backwards. Upright and slow. Doesn't seem to pack much power with head shots. Lovely body work tho.

 

Bla bla bla. A year ago everyone on this forum was rating Eubank Jr as a feather fisted dream boat living off of his dads past............... now they can't decide who's the best British Middleweight ....... him or BJS. Laughable.

Seen enough boxing to know that Callum isn't special just a lanky upright SM who was getting tagged by a slow 36 year old,lets get this straight blowing away journeymen with little ambition doesn't make you a big puncher smith power looked well average on Saturday just like Bellew..

 

Thought it was a good performance. Maybe Callum has been slightly over hyped but he comfortably beat a 2 time world title challenger. Can't say he's world class yet like the Sky team were and maybe he's not ready for Groves or Degale yet but he's still improving and it was a good fight for his first 12 rounder.
