He seems a decent guy, albeit in a pre-rehe****d, stage managed kind of way, and turns up in good shape, which is something that can't be taken for granted at heavyweight, but the hype in proportion to his opposition is beoming too much.
In the pre-Boxrec days, a quick win against Micheal Sprott could've been sold as impressive, unfortunately for Hearn, fans at the weekend knew that Micheal has suffered several bad stoppage losses of late, the last of which was in his previous fight, a first round KO loss to a 42 year old.
Maybe not a good idea to gloat that your fights are so easy you do 8 rounds on the pads in your dressing room afterwards either, at least not when one of these ''fights'' was supposedly the co-main event on a Pay-Per-View show.
There are question marks around Joshua's chin, something that simply hasn't been hit yet. He's 10-0 and still hasn't had a fight. Harmless, turtle-like Kevin Johnson won't ask any questions either. If Hearn doesn't intend putting him in against any sort of threat whatsoever, it may be time to turn down the volume on the hype for a while and stop insulting the likes of Fury and Chisora by claiming your man could beat them next weekend.

Nah I like him, the hype he's getting doesn't bother me. At least Johnson will take him rounds, and if he stops him then that'll be impressive.

To be fair to Joshua he is just starting out in the game, it's Sky and Hearn that are bigging him up.

As for how far he can go no one will know how good he is until he is taken into the latter rounds or belted square on the chin

The hype and sucking off is ridiculous.

That priick hearns is always saying that no one in the division will want to face his drug dealer, yet he isn't prepared to step in the ring with anyone besides washed up tonies.

The guy's chin and defence is suspect.

He apparently has been compared on here to mike tyson and joe luis, yet for all the shots he gave a shot and pot bellied granpa sprott, he didn't even go down.

I just cannot wait for him to get exposed just like that fraud price who everyone was saying fury was running away from and would be the only heavy to pose a serious threat to the klitschkos

I do think he's putting on an act. He seems dead cool/nice, but there is something lurking underneath..

I'd love to see him in with Chisora in the summer. That's fireworks right there in both the pre-fight build up and fight it's self.

its difficult cause he needs rounds but he's powerful and fast so the lower tier fighters cant cope. Hearn wont what happened to Price happening with AJ. He needs round quickly.. Kingpin would have done a few years ago maybe not so much now. I wonder if there are some experienced Cruisers who could come up who might have something to offer rather than jaded shop worn heavys. AJ would have the size and power but maybe they might be able to cope better than faded journeymen like sprott who are vulnerable as soon as the first big shots lands. Not sure ive worded this well but hopefully u get what I mean

Agreed. This humble/work hard act is played out. Too scripted.

He has destroyed everyone in-front of him - as he should have. He does look like he MIGHT have a great future in-front of him. He has only had 10 fights; he is still very young in his career, so people wanting him to fight someone top 5 are being a bit ridiculous.

Also, don't know how he can have both a suspect chin but yet never have been hit? So much contradiction on these forums
