Wladimir Klitschko says proposed talks with David Haye over a heavyweight world title fight came to nothing.
IBF and WBO belt-holder Klitschko said Londoner Haye, 27, the undisputed cruiserweight world champion, had to learn to "behave himself".
"Our meeting didn't even start, you can't talk to him, it's impossible, he's nuts," Klitschko told BBC Sport.

"He has great potential, but he has to put some weight on and get some fights as a heavyweight. Then we'll see."
Klitschko, 32, added that any match with Haye could not take place this year because he has mandatory defences to honour.
"This year is impossible because I have two (mandatories) in a row," said the Ukrainian, who is in London to promote the launch of the boxing charity, Fight for Peace.
"The WBO is going to be the next fight on 12 July (against America's Tony Thompson) and the IBF will be at the end of the year."

Most of it is pretty obvious like the mandatory fights. I thought Haye would be a bit more down to earth when the cameras not on him but perhaps the rant aren't just to create a buzz and call out Wlad.

Haye is more than likely a first class tosser in regards to every aspect of life.
I hope he can hang around the HW division without a loss long enough to fight Wlad. I enjoy rooting against someone in a fight, and Haye makes a good villain.
Shame he will more than likely be KO'd by another 'bum' before he makes it to Klitschko.

He is not, honestly. All this trash talking is totally new to Haye and clearly done to stir up interest in the states and it appears to be working.

Several of us from the British forum have spoken to him when he used to post on ESB and he was very friendly and respectful to all posters even when he was asked provocative questions about being chinny etc.

He was candid and honest about himself and very polite. When people began to doubt it was him he agreed to do a shout out and after one of his fights broadcast in the UK he said in the post match interview "Just want to give a shout to all the guys at ESB".

Doyley (one of the Brit posters) also bumped into him at an event and David chatted to him for half an hour about boxing etc and had a beer with him, and was totally down to earth etc.

Honestly this big mouth, cocky talk and dismissing other fighters is totally out of character to anyone who has followed his career (as I have since he was an amateur) and it is a calculated move to make himself marketable to the American networks.

Shouldn't Haye have to face someone in the top ten first just look how long it took Thompson to get a title shot.

Sounds like you know better than me so I'll take your word for it mate.
Even though it may ruin the fun of rooting for him to be KO'd.
I'm still glad he's moving to HW. The division needs someone like him in it.

Yeah! he is a knockout artist something the heavyweight division has been trying to replace since the glory days of Tyson but I don't want to see him get hurt and he should fight Rahman,Barrett,Guinn,Golota in that caliber to get his feet wet.

Haye needs to "BEHAVE HIMSELF": Sounds like old Vlad is starting to stoke the flames already.

Think I agree with Klitschko but I hope Haye would win If they thought. Haye should trash talk him only when he's training to fight him.

Should I take the Mavericks at 1,38, or is the Pistons at 1,43 the better value?
Suns are a no go, it's really down to those two.

I haven´t followed Haye at all, so I don´t know how he usually is.
But Klitschko usually just ignores those attempts to hype up a fight or just attemts to stir up ****.

Will we see a Klitschko vs Haye, 2009 if they both remain undefeated ??

David Haye is already defeated, he lost in the Cruiser ranks once.
