Don't know much about Gary Lockett those of you who do what do you think his chances are against Pavlik? I see its being shown live on Setanta Sports ....
I don't know much about Gary, but it sounds like Gary is set up to be the easy defense for Pavlik just keep him busy and make a little bit of money, before a bigger fight. Does he have chance, ever fighter has a chance, no matter how slim!
I have not been able to learn much about Lockett. The only tape I've seen is to old to be relevant. Team Pavlik has tape of 4 fights. Jack Leow said Lockett reminds him of Zertuche. Pavlik said he's fundamentally solid, keeps his hands up, and doesn't make many mistakes. Pretty hard to asses his chances based on such scant information. Vincent Gottschalk has some recent tape. Maybe we can coerce him into putting it on You Tube. Boo
Don't know enough about Lockett to say much either way. It does appear Pav will be enjoying a huge size advantage. I hope it's a good one.

seems like Gary is a huge underdog and maybe out of his league .... but now and again a HUGE UPSET can happen? I'll never forget when I found out Douglas had beaten Tyson in 1990. I thought it was a wind up!
