Surprising how good Rourkes left hook looked. The way he dipped like he was dying of natural causes and then boom, leaping left hook. **** looked powerful.
How can you be serious? Things like this hurt boxing. It makes a mockery of the sport. These guys are getting paid to "fight" and it's disrespectful to guys who are actually risking their lives and not getting paid as much as these 2 sh*tty actors.
Rourke: " By the power of Greyskull!!" Opponent: " Say what?" Rourke:<whispers> " Dammit that's your cue..." Opponent: " Oh yeah, ahem... Shazam!! That sh.it hurt!!?
You obviously didn't read my post. I'm saying that Rourke was shocked that the opponent went down, which means that he didn't know about the fix and therefore WASN'T ACTING.hi:
Rourke is a terrible boxer, doesnt even seem to have basic boxing skills, his fights in the 90s were fixed aswell..
Which is where his experience in Hollywood acting was on display. You could tell by the way he casually leaned on the ropes with that grin, that the fix was in. I know you're smarter than that. Who fights like that? The only thing that shocked him was how early his opponent dove. He wasn't suppose to lay down until later in the first round. Mikey was upset at how fake it actually looked.
Them having the nerve to walk around the ring together milking the non-existent applause was the highlight. Fight-fixers they both may be, but they have some front.
That was a legit KO guys, look at the final punch Mickey lands at 16:45. Mickey lands a powerful knockout blow square on the guys ass. No one except maybe the Vitali from the Lewis fight could take a shot to the ass like that and stay on his feet. I wouldn't mind seeing Rourke step up and fight someone like Charr. I think he can make a decent run at the title if Wlad retires in the next couple years.
