Ridiculous that people can still come out with this garbage. Don't be too surprised if Froch makes you eat your words again...just like when he'd be too much of a coward to rematch Groves. Of course then you'll just say, that's all well and good but Degale was overrated why is he ducking Callum Smith. :patsch

I mean do people really think Carl Froch is afraid of James Degale? Are people so blinded by their hate? 6 months ago it was seen as a joke fight that would see Degale smashed to pieces against the ropes. He strings a couple of good performances together against limited opponents and suddenly Froch is ****ting himself? Ok.

I'd actually love to see the new reckless Degale open up against Froch like he did against Periban...it would be a very short nights work for the Cobra.

Wont say that at all will applaud him for doing what jc never did and not accuse him of being a hypocrite.

Very very unlikeable carl and so overrated it is incredible.GG gave him fits in first fight and was in the second, dirrell beat him for me and was trading 3s on on betfair after the final bell to give people an indicator of how much of hometown decision that was.jermain taylor who never ever was the super middle that he was middle hurt carl and was thirty seconds away from a win.

JC retired undefeated havingbeta bernard hopkins ffs lol you clowns really are deluded raving about this warrior.Plus as a human being calzage much nicer guy aswell.

    International superstar yeah right lol

No chance is he the best ever. He was thoroughly beaten by Ward even though he says it "was a close, close fight" every 5 minutes. Groves gave him a boxing lesson in the first fight and he simply couldn't adjust to the right hand.

Taylor fight again showed he can be out boxed and by a smaller man, great punch to save the day though. Abraham was coming up in weight but a solid enough performance. I like most thought he just lost the Dirrell fight, gave no rematch.

What annoys me about Froch is how he dines out on the whole warrior mentality and how he fights fighters in their own back yard. He simply had to fight them in their own back yards as he had no drawing power. As soon as he beat Bute (a fighter who was dead on his feet and almost KO'd by Andrade) and had some pull he fought at home every fight, and on PPV!!!!

If he was the warrior he says he is he should fight GGG or rematch Ward instead he wants the lazy weed smoking Chavez Junior?!! I cant stand Froch mainly due to his arrogance and failure to credit any fighter other than himself but i do respect him as a fighter.

Calzaghe and Eubank for me make easy work of Froch. Benn would probably smash him to pieces with a clubbing hook to the head. Collins would put a sheeny curse on him!!

he's had four fights since Bute. One was a 'return leg' against Kessler, two more were against a British fighter, neither in his home town and one in the home town of his opponent.

By far the most entertaining SMW we have ever had, all of his fights have been great viewing and for me the best SMW alongside JC. However, I just cant see any other Brit past or present being able to stop Carl Froch and think he could have beaten Benn Eubank and Calzaghe on his day!! Shame Calzaghe ducked the fight tbh!! As for present day, Froch should be considered the no1 in the division right now, you have to fight and stay active which Ward has not done and so he should no way be thought of as the no1 right now IMO.

How can he be critized for not fighting degale , degale could be **** he hasn't done anything yet , there's far more interesting fights for both. The groves fight could even be seen as a waste bit it turned out great and groves was more deserving than degale. He seemed to want to do the groves fight because Calzage never have him a shot and he wanted to give a youn guy a shot

How did Calzaghe 'duck' Froch? At the end of the day, when that fight came about Calzaghe was at the tail end of his career, wanting big names, big money and big fights. Froch couldn't provide this at that point in his career because he wasn't a big name. To put it simply, Calzaghe had bigger fish to fry.

Also, for those saying Froch is 'ducking' Degale and how he's a hypocrite for not giving a British fighter a shot like he didn't get against Calzaghe..... have you just finished munching on a bag of crayons?? He's just had 2 fights with a British fighter who was his mandatory, he gave Groves his shot. He gave Groves what Calzaghe never gave him.

I'm not all that keen on Froch as a person, but I respect him as a fighter - one tough *******. He's been banging on about having a fight in Vegas, not wanting to finish his career without having his name shown up in lights on the strip since before the 1st Groves fight - after the fights he's been involved in, I think he can definitely choose what he want's to do.

I'd say Calzaghe would beat him on points. I also think Eubank would beat him in a very very close fight.

I do however think Froch would beat Nigel Benn & Steve Collins.

Never was number one mandatory was he.

Have no problem what jc did made complete sense as froch wasnt big enougth name and brought nothing to the table compared to bigger fry.My issue is the double standards do as i say not as i do.

Clearly there is money in degale fight however he wants the easier nights work does the warrior not exactly going over to face ggg is he

'He gave Groves what Calzaghe never gave him'.

Ducked, swerved, whatever the reason Calzaghe didn't want to fight Froch at the time!!!
