Can not be ****d to even google the Failiure that Is Tim Lane... I guess he is not a boxing trainer originaly
They must've been doing something right, he beat taylor and prodnikov, but their entire game plan vs pac, and the **** he was saying made him look like he was on drugs, and feeding chris some re**** sandwiches between rounds. Tim appeared that night one of the most delusional professionals caught on live tv. Chris's confidence seems genuine, but when that is your crowd, makes you wonder where he gets it from.
He's crazy, but one thing I can say is hes a calming voice. People didn't and still don't have a clue what Ellerbe really was to Floyd, but he was a calm voice for Floyd in between rounds. Not the worst advice I've ever seen.. I mean even well known trainers like McGirt say the same **** "drink some water baby" or "I need you to work the jab... baby". Tim Lane will go down as "let's creep on him", I guess Chris knows what it means lol and thats all that matters.
I was sort of annoyed by Chris' confidence and swagger before and after the fight. Like who the f does he think he is u know? They're both a bit delusional lol.
Lane's cage line is the most notorious, but here's one of his underrated lines... "The plan is to jab & jab, and never give up"
This video is legendary. I... it's just... that is the most pathetic performance by a corner I have ever seen.
My favorites that had me rolling while watching it live were: Throughout fight, starting after round 2 down 20-17: "We're right where we want to be." Entering round 11 down 100-84: "OK this is round 2." Plus all the general use of the water bottle and terms like "beautiful" after 10-8 round after 10-8 round with no strategical advice whatsoever...
ease up on the guy dude...they went against an atg in pacman... we cant judge him with 1 fight against a great...they were unbeaten before pac... but he is indeed hilarious on that 9th round....and the way he staring down on pac right before the start of the fight was kinda creepy....
Creeping on Pacquiao: Between rounds Algieri climbs out of the ring from his corner, quickly runs around the ring and resurfaces outside of Mannys corner and punches him in his calf.
