BJS should vacate once he gets his WBO title fight. I hope Lee v Korobov is not controversial, a draw and the winner does not get an injury which would keep him out.

    Who are the contenders?

Blackwell is due the first shot a the BBBOC belt
Ryder has won an eliminator, but his handlers could choose European or Commonwealth
Adam Etches will continue to be protected. Maybe Commonwealth against someone unknown
Eubank will be the main player and I would like him in with Blackwell
Spike O'Sullivan & Eamon O'Kane for Irish or European

I doubt Macklin will want to drop down to domestic level. Lee & Murrey will probably feel the same depending how they look in their title shots.

A brilliant Commonwealth fight would be Eubank v Lemieux

Quite a few on twitter are calling for Eubank vs O'Sullivan think that would be a cracking fight.

Eubank has come a long way. Fights nobodies, gives Saunders a fight and then being discussed in a fight with Lemieux, who is a hell of a puncher. Ill bet a lot have turned him down. But it would be terrific. I don't expect that to happen soon, but if Eubank were to win it would completely make up for Saturday night, and earn him a world title shot. Losing to Saunders, however close, doesn't.

Eubank did relatively well considering the step-up in competition, but after the way his dad hyped him up, after the way Chris Junior agreed with the dad that he could beat Gennady Golovkin, he was a complete flop.
People who listened to Senior in the build-up without having seen Junior would have expected a Roy Jones Junior type superstar on Saturday. They got a big, strong lad with a decent punch who can't fight at a high pace for sustained periods, and who swings and misses so badly he ends up being turned regularly. A huge let down in other words.

    Ryder vs Blackwell
    Eubank vs spike

Ogogo should get in the mix

It should be simple. Saunders gets winner of Korobov-Lee, Eubank Jr fights O'Sullivan and Blackwell and Ryder contest the British title.

Eubank would absolutely hurt him osullivan very slow and hasn't got no where near the boxing skills bjs has think people being harsh on eubank he's a lot better than the likes of Osullivan

I used to think the same about OSullivan, but surprisingly he has picked up a lot of speed recently. Been working on flexibility a lot too and it's paying off.
Whatever you may think of Spikes shortcomings, Eubank is not certain to beat him at all. By no means. Spike is big and strong and tough and he hits much harder than Billy Joe.

He's tough give you that his shots stiff and slow even though bjs not a puncher he's shots are very accurate and have snap to them giving them more power than spikes slow loaded up shots I think eubank would beat him easily

There's so many good British and irish middles now...the bad old days of Macklin murray barker never facing each other ought to be over. Good fights ahead...

Seriously - the British Isles middleweight scene is very hot now. When you consider Andy Lee and Matt Korobov are contesting a world title at the weight, theres probably a half -dozen British middles I would rate as better than those two. The talent pool is really deep at the moment.
