His holding was disgraceful, didn't hear him getting warned once. The ref was also doing his best to keep Eubank off him in the last few rounds when he was hurt and trying to clinch for dear life.

Had the ref been doing his job properly im not sure Billy would have seen the final bell

if Eubank had done his properly he would have won the fight the problem is he done nothing until it was going to take a ko or a knockdown to swing the fight in his favour.

I was disgusted that the novice biased ref allowed all that holding and grabbing and hugging from Saunders, and held his hand against Eubank's chest for 5 seconds every time Saunders was there for the taking. In a 5,000-seat arena with an experienced, non-biased ref, Eubank Jr would've blew him away.

Drop these pathetic anti-Saunders threads. Eubank should have lost at least one point for the constant holding-and-hitting and blatant rabbit punching, the most dangerous foul in boxing. Your hype-job proved he's not remotely what his father claimed he is. Let it go.

But he wasn't infrnt of 5,000 he was in a 20,000 sell out crowd and froze for the first 6 rounds of the fight.

Eubank spent the last 6 rounds holding Saunders with one hand whilst trying to pull him onto the uppercut and/or rabbit punching him.

    He didn't though did he.

Plus how can you claim he would blow him away? He never had Saunders in serious trouble through 12 rounds.

    Eubank was ineffective and crude.

Clear Saunders win. Eubank came on strong in the second half but Saunders dealt with it and fought well on the inside when he had to. If a rematch ever happens I would give Eubank a good shot at pulling it off and would certainly pay to see it. But this loss could well break him, with his super high confidence, unable to ever get that back.

When punters and commentators moan about slight infractions it always makes me wonder if they have ever had a fight in their lives? It is not a ballet it is a fight. However highly skilled it will always break out at some point and that is what the fans want. A good s****. This was a good s**** and Billy Joe got the win.

For every complaint you have about Saunders holding you could have the same amount for Eubank ducking his head down below the belt. He's always at it and never gets pulled up. He also likes to hold opponents with one hand and throw the upper cut with the other when in close. Neither of those are allowed, but he gets away with it.

I'm not particularly anti-Eubank or Saunders, but every fighter has the odd dirty trait

Saunders was pushing Eubank's head down, all the time.

What about the constant holding and hitting from Eubank?

Good victory for BJS - it was deserved. Do think that Eubank would win a rematch.
