He lost that fight BJS didn't win it. Much stronger and faster, BJS was out on his feet in the last round and will look to avoid JNR for the rest of his career. Im convinced Eubank Jr will now go on to win a world title.
I said the same in another thread I wanted Saunders to win and thought he would easier than he did. He looked ****ed in the last few rounds, and in the interview at the end looked to me he was about to collapse from exhaustion and Eubank looked ok to me, and if Eubank had gone for it a little more and earlier, I think he would have won. I think Eubank will go on to be a better fighter and if they fight again my money would be on Eubank.
Zzzzzz. If my auntie had a co ck she'd be my uncle. If Saunders had done absolutely nothing for the first 6 rounds i'm sure he could have finished stronger too. Starting to feel a bit of sympathy for the minority on this forum still clinging to the fantasy that Eubank Jr is ever going to be some world-beating superstar. It's never going to happen. Time to start the acceptance faze of your grief guys.
Eubank jr has 26 amateur fights and only 18 as a pro for someone with such little experience he showed that he has more than enough potential to go on to become world class.
I'd take eubank in a rematch too. Was a close fight that came just a little early for him, he needs a better game plan next time and to make some adjustments and he can win. Needs a few more fights under his belt first though.
Both will win a world title, and it could be that Jnr takes it from Saunders. Who ever wins the title in the Andy Lee Vs Matt Korobov lose to BJS for me.
I would agree that Eubank did lose it, he needs to learn from this though he cant win world title fights without any corner assitance / advice. If he started quicker he would have had a much better chance of winning. Fair play to BJS for the win though, I thought Eubank would stop him.
A lot of this 'he will win a rematch' stuff is because he was coming on strong down the stretch - most fighters would be in that position if they hadnt actually done anything in the first 6. Also, BJS is too small for a middleweight at world level. Needs to drop down
I don't offer anyone fights anymore because they never turn up but your not denying your a grey old man
