ALIVE!!! PANIC OVER after him robbing alot of us for £16.99 he is today in the daily mail telling us how AJ beats Fury Fury v Chisora was boring Saunders v Eubank was technically poor and more of his drivel he has a cheek cannot wait for the watford pablo escobar to get knocked out
I agree with what he has said, but he is still a robbing **** who owes us a lot of good cards on Sky before I ever consider buying another PPV.
He said AJ is most popular heavyweight in the UK at the moment..I dont agree with that! and agree totally about good cards, but he should not comment on any other cards after that shambles in Liverpool the other week
With the Sky hype machine I'd say he is. Most people don't watch Fury hoping he wins, huge difference.
Khan shouldnt fight Mayweather Fury shouldnt fight Klitschko but both should fight Eddie Hearns fighters because it makes more sence! (according to eddie)
Joshua probably is although to be fair most don't watch Mayweather hoping he wins but he's still the most talked about fighter in the world, I think the world popular is the wrong term to describe how well known a fighter is and that's where the mix up is here.
I think Fury, Fury may not be the most liked, he is the most popular! if you asked the majority of public to guess a british heavyweight I would say the majority would say Fury. just my opinon mate alot will disagree, Solaris for one who is usually spot on with his opinions.
Some British fans would say Susan Boyle looks better than Megan Fox if Eddie '£16.99' Hearn told them she did. Tyson Fury is far, far more popular than Anthony Joshua. Fighting for years on terrestrial television in exciting brawls and giving interviews that aren't robotic PR releases are the main two reasons why.
He couldn't sell out the MEN, his home town arena, for the first Chisora fight. That's not a popular boxer.
And the one at the weekend didn't sell because of him, but Joshua isn't selling out arenas as the main event
Did AJ not recently sell out the 02 as the headliner? He has also sold in excess of 6,000 tickets for his next fight there, 9 weeks out from fight. I think Fury is a very good HW, but only sold 3,000 tickets at the MEN for the postponed Chisora fight, so on back of that and AJ being able to sell 20,000 tickets and winning a home Olympics I will say he is our biggest name in the division (whilst Haye is not fighting)
If my twitter is anything to go by, then AJ is by far and away the most popular. Most guys who are not huge boxing fans all tweet and talk about him when he fights. On Saturday none of them even mentioned Fury in passing. Its the Sky effect, fight on Sky and reach a bigger audience
