What would you do if you were Broner's handlers? (Objective thread)

But Khan came back from losses and is slowly positioning himself for a big fight. Not too much too fast gives him best chance of winning that fight when he gets it. Broner needs to follow the Khan model for rebuilding.

 

There's still room for Broner to improve if he hasn't already been corrupted by the fame, fortune and the agony of defeat.

His handlers have to decide if his potential is considerably higher than what he's already shown himself as or if he's more/less already revealed what his peak is.

If it's the former, they should match him against someone like Zab Judah which is both a sellable fight and winnable one (though not my personal preference ), and if it's the latter then throw him in with Pac and cash out.

 

He should have moved up slower. If he'd have given his body time to fill out at 140, he might have had a chance to carry his power better at 147.

 

Thing to remember is, Broner is not even remotely close to being as good as Khan, so before he gets that big fight he could fall at a Dmitry Salita type hurdle. A guy as good as Koletniyk for sure would school the hype job.

 

Thing is, what if Judah is reasonably motivated and beats Broner. The version that faced Danny Garcia would beat Broner. They need to feed Broner to the pigs now.

 

He has decent power , he manage to hurt Maidana and make him RETREAT in the very last rnd .

Something Mayweather didn't even come close to doing in 24 rounds with him .

 

I think Broner is solid @ 140 and should stay there .

I don't think we will ever see him win a title in that division . Because Matthysse is also in that division

From the looks of it AB don't want nothing to do with him and I don't like Broners chances against Lucas if the fight was to take place .

 

Lets not forget though Broner only hurt him with a free shot 5 seconds after the bell in the 11th round- and he never really had Maidana in trouble.

 

No I would not say Maidana was in severe trouble ,at any point during the fight , but he really felt Broners punch after he connected on him .

Chinos body language said it all .

Pretty much his fault , he was straight up embarrassing Broner in a beatdown , got too ****y thinking "He cant hurt me , I felt his power already "

He should move down to 140 I wasn't keen on him skipping that weight in the first place. A few years ago he was at 130 but people forget that.
