Does it mean anything to him or to the boxing world?
What will the media, historians write or boxing fanatics say about him?
We all know hes got lots of money but money can not buy everything.
Hes a got a few months leftt to say yes or no before the public will judge his determination and make a final conclusion. Whats your opinion?

Everybody is telling this man to take the fight. If he doesn't he will go down as one of the biggest disgraces the sport has ever seen. Like when u were kid and that big mofo challenged u. you tucked ure chin and put ure fist up because it was about pride about not being disrespected, sticking up for what your about. If you lose you lose. Only diffrence is floyd mayweather is a professional prize fighter and he's pulling this

"This is a time for it to happen because it's getting to a point where the public is demanding it; everybody is demanding it, and that's been the case for the last I don't know how many years, but I think at this point, it has to happen just because of the fact that both of their careers are winding down. Especially Floyd. Floyd is already committed to his career only lasting one more year and I think this is the time to do it" said Jeff.

im not a fanatic of either. but in 2010 floyd offered a 50\50 split to fight in march of that year. but demanded random testing up til fight day. pac said yes if floyd would pay 10 million per pound he come in over 146. floyd excepted then they counterd and said they would take test until 7 days before fight. not sure how that is floyd fault. people seem to forget that. floyd just offerd him 40 million almost twice as much as he has ever made. and he refused. i admit he will probably make more than that, but dont act like pac is just dying to fight or he would had jumped on that. there is a you tube video of freddie roach admitting it was their fault in 2010. "we should had taken the test". look it up i got it off this site. people pile on floyd cause they dont like him but that doesnt change the facts. pac never called floyd out until he went broke. he always said i will have to talk to my team 1st. imo i think both have been at fault, but to say pac is chasing floyd and floyd has been ducking just isnt accurrate.

Even though Mayweather offered Pacquiao $40 million and would have been Pac's highest pay, but still is not a fair offer as Pacquiao was not offered any of the PPV Share.

It takes 2 to tango and Pacquiao also is a big name that will pull ppv buys. Also I thought Mayweather jr doesn't want to fight Manny Pacquiao unless he leaves Bob Arum/Top Rank?

But offered Pacquiao 40 million with no ppv share, blood testing etc.

Pac had said he would fight for less. I don't agree that PAC should have accepted a flat $40 million but his response was 50/50, Michale also confirmed Manny wanted only 50/50. Then Michael informed that they offered a 45/45 split with rest going to winner, your talkng about a 5% advantage to winner far off from "I'm willing to fight for less"

Come on man, let's not be fan boys. Floyd does hold some of the blame but so does PAC.

When the fight was at its peak hype and PAC had a chance of ko floyd(yes I thought PAC could ko floyd) was in 09, rejecting a fight due to ped testing is comical. It created bad blood and tension between the camps, then PAC sues floyd to make it worse.

Would you really want to negotiate with some one who just sued you?

I personally think (nobody has to be persuaded) that Floyd has been sabotaging the fight all along beginning with the steroid accusations. The ncreased testing demands complicated Mosley vs Judah negotiations so it's not like there was no precedent for this sort of thing. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=194763

Maybe it's because Pacquiao is a leftie, maybe he had a bad dream. Only he knows why. And for everyone who thinks the lawsuit was frivolous -- the judge disagreed!

JEFF MAYWEATHER ON MAYWEATHER VS. PACQUIAO: "FLOYD WANTED TO FIGHT PACQUIAO WHEN PACQUIAO WAS AT THE PEAK"

By Ben Thompson | December 03, 2014

"This is a time for it to happen because it's getting to a point where the public is demanding it; everybody is demanding it, and that's been the case for the last I don't know how many years, but I think at this point, it has to happen just because of the fact that both of their careers are winding down. Especially Floyd. Floyd is already committed to his career only lasting one more year and I think this is the time to do it," stated world-class trainer Jeff Mayweather, who shared his thoughts on a potential mega-fight between his nephew, undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, and 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. According to Jeff, people are completely wrong if they think that Floyd is the one who has refused to make the fight a reality.

"The one thing is this, first of all, they keep talking about Floyd didn't want the fight. Floyd wanted to fight Pacquiao when Pacquiao was at the peak of his career. Pacquiao didn't want to take a blood test because we know what he was doing. Everybody knew what he was doing. It ain't no secret. It ain't no secret and his own coach threw him under the bus. Freddie Roach said, 'Ariza was doing this and doing that,' but you not realizing by saying that, you're basically saying your fighter was dirty. You saying that this guy was dirty, but he was the one giving stuff to your fighter, so what does that mean? That just justifies why the fight didn't happen the first time," Jeff explained during a recent conversation with FightHype's Percy Crawford. "And then he was offered $40 million the next time. He's not gonna see that kind of money nowhere else. So now all of a sudden, he's coming at Floyd because he needs help. He needs Floyd; Floyd don't need you. Floyd gonna be fine if he never fights Pacquiao."

Jeff added, "His punching power is gone now. It's gone and of course nobody is stupid as to why it's gone. Like I said, it's a fight that should happen, but at the same time, when it does happen and what happens does happen, which we all know...he should've signed the damn contract when Floyd signed the contract for the fight. It's a no-win situation for Floyd, but at the end of the day, it's what the people want and eventually Floyd gonna give the people what they want."
