If I wanted the aussie opinion I'd asked for it, but I don't.... so **** off:hi: And no I don't want Ricky Martin in anyway, shape, or form.:deal He's not girly enough.:deal Aussies are glass jawed wusses, look at the year they've had KO's coming fast and furious is there any Aussie that didn't get KO'd this year.:rofl
Parker is not Maori, he's a NZ Samoan - the same stock as David Tua... our population is 2% of Brazil's, will have to touch base on this post after the fight - here's hoping for your sake that it's a one way fight for your guy, I'd hate to have made that call and have your #1 on 200,000,000 beaten by someone from our little country Looking forward to seeing how it goes, should be a good test for Parker and definitely risky - mainly due to the one-hit-turn around that big powerful guys have the chance of doing, fortunately Parker is much quicker, smarter and has a pretty good chin... imho. I am fairly confident Parker will have this, but again acknowledge the chance his chin will get a proper test in this one. Here's some footage from a previous fight from Brazil's number one: http://youtu.be/s09ao46JTQs
Agree disgraceful stuff from the Aussies this year apart from Anthony Mundine who once again showed his fellow countrymen how it's done against Rabchenko.
I misinterpreted this. You should have worded "Smash Parker's glove so hard with his face that he goes into a victory sleep" Classy win, dominated and destroyed this one - pretty much as expected, if not a bit easier than I was expecting! Next year should be a good one :happy
Parker beat that Brazilian wax job by stoppage in the opening seconds of the 4th round. I predicted thats what would happen as these Brazillians have padded records and cant move very good. Parker made him look stupid. If thats the best Brazil has to offer, then Boxing is dead in that countryt -deal
Both #1 Brazilians in their weight classes were given some things to go home and think about, for sure :!: I can definitely see where you were coming from. It really was a one sided fight - to me it looked like Costa lost some bravado in the first round or two after tasting Parkers power.... but it became clear that Costa was going to be someone Parker could put to sleep and it got quite exciting I'm guessing the career of JP isn't going to be suffering anywhere near as much as the title of this thread suggests? In case anyone missed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZWb2nJfukA
Thanks for the vid! He fookin starched him with that right hand. scary. brazilian looks like a total bum tho
The Brazilian's record is somewhat padded and he lost 12 rounds in a row (120-108) to German Christian Hammer, who is a decent HW but is being rated far too high.
Beautiful combinations and body work from Parker! Now i must start educating myself on him, he looks promising.
ULFury.......I respect your opinion above that of 98% of this site. Maybe your the best poster on the site, IDK. But your'e right up there for me anyways...... But you got this one wrong. Dead wrong. Joseph Parker is a machine. A BIG, strong HW with an iron chin and skils to match. Costa is a stepping stone for him.....nothing more. This fight will go similar to the Ruiz Jr Hanks fight. :thumbsup
