He's a good fighter with a ton of heart. Unfortunately he just can't seem to break the top level guys. Not to mention he cuts so easily it places him at a huge disadvantage for every fight. But he has solid skills.....just not fast or extremely powerful but he is a tremendous gatekeeper to the upper echelon of the boxing elite. He has made a good career thus far for himself. He will eventually need to find another way to make ends meet but he can get some attractive fights and possibly upset some young, green prospects who might not understand that he's a crafty ring get at 28.
rosado had is orbital bone broken in the fight with lemieux...he is finnished for a while, he says he needs surgery and will take time with the fam... sounds to me like he is gonna "retire" and in a little bit just make a return here and there to make some cash....but i doubt he will take many more dangerous fights like ggg or lemieux ggg was able to cut rosado up enough that they stopped the fight in the 7th...lemieux gave rodado an extra 3 rounds of beatings, not to mention rosado's orbital bone broken in the 3rd round
I love me some Gabe Rosado…and it's a shame what happened to him vs. Quillin. That changed his career directory. That being said it's time for him to be done on HBO. I get it - he tests top level fighters in entertaining fights, but from now on I only wanna see him in there testing prospects on PPV undercards.
Wow go on man!! Those are obvious trolls. And it is the only time I'll acknowledge their existence because they feed off the attention.
. This is what Gabe Rosado gets for looking down on Home Depot and the people who work there. Only thing Gabe has achieved in boxing is getting his faced used as a stepping stone for better fighters.
Most fighters never reach the levels Gabe has reached. Lol......there are a lot of fighters who never fought under network lights.....on tv or for a title. There are a lot of fighters who have only been on TV once and never brought back again.....a very small fraction of fighter ever reach the top 10 rankings for the divison they fight in. Very few reach levels that guys like Manny or Floyd reach but that's not to say everyone beneath them are not successful in a hard and brutal sport like boxing.
Not even close....Zab actually had the abilities and talents to make it to the highest levels of the sport. He was mentally broken by certain fighters but his talents allowed him to compete in a way that won him multiple world titles in multiple weight classes. Rosado is full of heart and has some talent but not anywhere near the levels of a prime Judah.
You're saying it like a damn armchair Monday morning quarterback!!! Someone with true boxing experience would not make such a statement ....this man has been facing the best out there!!!
