This should be an interesting fight and a big step up for Benavidez, or maybe a step too far?

I like Benavidez I did a thread on him, but I think Herrera is too crafty for him at this point, although even if Herrera wins it may end up a draw.

There some serious things to consider for Benavidez, it is a huge step up for him no doubt. And, Benavidez does not throw many punches as he's looks for KO's. This will be a problem as he in against a guy with a great chin who wins on volume.

JB is a tall, lanky dude. If he can effectively use his size and fight a long, rangy fight, he can beat Mo relatively wide.

If Alvarado can beat Herrera so can Benavidez.

He didnt though, and styles make fights, does Benavidez fight anything like Garcia? The only thing they have in common is they're both good at countering, but other than that Benavidez has a much better jab, he's faster, and more elusive.

It'll be a drawish fight Herrera will probably do enough to win but it will go to Benavidez, who I like quite a lot as well.

This is definitely a make or break fight for Benavidez. Soft punching, but very crafty veteran like Herrera. If Benavidez comes out on top, division has a new real threat to look out for. When Benavidez shines he looks like a Mexican Tommy Hearns, but Herrera is a huge step up who's thrown it down with the best. Wouldn't be surprised if Herrera gets another bad call.

Benavidez is going to get busted up..

He's going to be overwhelmed and hurt like he's never hurt before, talk about going off the deep end.

    Hurt? By Herrera?

Herrera is a fine boxer, but hes not exactly GGG.
