How can this guy manage to convince Wlad to be more aggresive in the ring when infact, he was ****ing gunshy against a 46 year old man...
And to add insult to injury, he got his ass whooped by an old, out of shape & beyond shot Tarver..:verysad

You don't have to be a great boxer to be a great trainer, look back at the best trainers in boxing history...............

The only reason Banks got his coaching gig is coz he was kissing the Great Emmanuel Steward's a$$...
Banks hasn't taught Wlad anything....If anything else, Banks is there to boost his morale as opposed to being there to give useful advice...
The late great Emmanuel Steward has already taught Wlad everything that he needs to know...

Banks isn't his trainer because he's a great trainer, he has the job because of his relatinship to Klitschko and the departed Steward. That said, it's clear Banks doesn't care about being a boxer, otherwise he'd be more active and put forth better efforts, but that would be detrimental to his boss Wlad.

Johnathon Banks is Wlad´s trainer! You can be a good trainer without being a good boxer!

He is his trainer because of his relationship to Emanuel Steward.

Yes, because Freddie Roach and other great trainers were such amazing fighters.

Banks is doing just fine. Anything he does in the ring has zero impact on Wladimir's likelihood of removing him as trainer. A new trainer would be horrible for Wladimir at this point. Banks has trained with Steward in Klitschko's camps for years and knows exactly how things went in order to continue them since Stewards' death.

I think all the tales and repeated mantras of the Banks vs. Mitchell rematch being fixed can now be re-assessed. You all thought Banks was ten times better, smarter, and more active than he actually is.

Of course, we can't have that can we? There won't be anything to complain about otherwise.

i dont think that wlads needs a coach. banks is just there for a little bit talking and he knows how steward trained him. we all can say that wlad is fighting long time without a coach

Most of the great coaches were nothing special as boxers.
