What are your views on Benezer Alolod? Some good wins one his record over Loreto (who he is 1-1 with) and Fajardo and at 23 he's still a kid

Another one from Southern Philippines. Pacquiao's region for some reason are producing a lot of boxing prospects. Alvarez, Doliguez jr,
    Ancajas etc.

Haven't seen much of Alolod, but looking through his record, it looks like a slightly weaker version of Diale's. It seems that, domestic-wise, he will give almost anyone a good fight. He hasn't had as much opportunities internationally as Diale, aside from his bout Joyi, but that should emerge if he keeps winning.

It's one of the worst divisions out there right now (once Crawford officially moves up, any day) but I don't see it out of Gesta. He's already 27 years old, only faced a contender once in his career (champion Vazquez), been inactive since then, potentially peaked already... in addition to never impressing me with his skills in the first place. He's not as bad as he is disappointing, really.

John Riel Casimero won an IBF Flyweight World Title Eliminator tonight in Mexico against Armando Santos, stopping the Mexican in two rounds. Hopefully Casimero can make some noise in the stacked flyweight division, as he is now Amnat's mandatory. Another win for Casimero on the road!

The Central and Southern PI is traditionally the hotbed of the fight game in the country. Probably something in the Corn.

This kid is a true definition of a road warrior. He has fought all over the world in hostile territory and performed admirably.I guess he fights the IBF champion in Thailand next.I would give him a good chance if he can catch the THAI.

Definitely a big time road warrior. 5-2 (3 KO) on the road. The Lazarte win on the road was disgusting, audience-wise, but Casimero pulled through and got the stoppage. His two losses were against Garcia and Mthalane. The Garcia fight could have gone either way, and he lost by SD, while he got stopped against Mthalane. Casimero's team blamed that on his conditioning, saying that he just couldn't adapt to the South African setting in time.

Specifically, he'll be in line against the Amnat-Shiming winner. As a Casimero fan, I would rather see him face Zou, since style-wise, I believe that that will be a more favorable match up. Unfortunately, I don't see Zou beating Amnat aside from a robbery.

Props to Casimero. Good kid that takes on anyone and anywhere. If Shimming/Amnat doesn't take place then I can see Casimero taking that title away from Amnat.

I also love that he's a showman, he has that demeanor about him.

Michael Dasmarinas, my #6 rated prospect, lost by a controversial split decision in South Africa a couple days ago. Two judges had him losing 116-112, while one judge had him winning by 118-110. I'll keep him my #6 because, as the scorecards may suggest, it was competitive and could have easily been a robbery.

Edrin Dapudong looks like he may be a victim of that as well. Something about Pinoy fighters going into S.Africa as fodder and leaving with controversial split decision losses. Juanito Rubillar was a big victim of that everytime he went to S.Africa.

Yeah, it's nearly impossible for Filipinos to win in South Africa, but Raymond Tabugon did manage to win a decision there about a week ago to win a minor IBO title.

Mark Anthony Geraldo, by the way, lost to McJoe Arroyo in a title eliminator this past weekend in Puerto Rico. Wide decision for the Puerto Rican, Geraldo got dropped and lost a point.

Ben Mananquil Vs Xiang Jing II will take place in late December, the two fought to a draw earlier this year. Mananquil fought Kwanpichit to a TD in a fight that many refs would have stopped in the opening round.
