To those who are comsidering punching power:

PLEASE stop judging this by who is KOed & not.

Power is merely one factor in what allows a KO. Overall skill, defense, speed, combinations, accuracy, work rate are amongst the other factors that facilitate a KO.

This is pretty basic. A guy can hit the hardest ever but lack the other necessities to pull of a KO as well as a MUCH LIGHTER puncher.

if you want to specify Ko ability or effective power that is a completely different thing.

Career 1 Foreman avoided punchers, career 2 he was an old but improved version but did not avoid punchers, Tyson and Lewis were the punchers of the division he did not fight them but fought some decent punchers

Morrison was one of the hardest hitters of all time, so there really is no myth to Foreman ducking punchers. And like someone stated before, it wasn't the hard hitters Foreman avoided but the cream of the crop guys like Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, Ruddock. He didn't duck these guys, he basically avoided them unless they held the championship or brought good money to the table.

    Coooney
    Holyfield
    Stewart
    Morrison
    Moorer

A pretty good set of names there. And I was actually impressed by the way Foreman dispatched of Coooney because Gerry was looking good in there. Truth be told I believe Foreman goes 0-4 against the fighters I mentioned above(and gets stopped inside the distance against them all). Mercer, if in shape, handles Big George as well.

Lewis and Tyson hit harder than Morrison. Ruddock hit almost as hard.
I didn't say Morrison was the hardest puncher, I said he was the greatest.

Why the gleeful attempts at humilation? If you think a guy is uninformed, tell him WHy, do not just flame him for not watching noxing. he may but be mistaken, it is narrow minded & factually incorrect that all who watch many fights come to the same conclusions.

i think Morrison with his left hook hit about as hard as anyone, i do not know about "greatest" anything. Ruddock, Tua, Foreman, Smith hit at least as hard as Tyson & Lewis. Though not as good of course.
