Floyd is getting old, deal with it.

If Maidana can land, and he is slow as sh*t, It'll be like shooting fish in a barrel for Amir.

Im not khans biggest fan and don't want to sound like a hater but watch some of the fight on youtube with the speed set at .25 his speed really is masking his flaws

he has terrible balance when throwing his shots and leaves himself wide open to counters it all looks so sloppy when slowed down and he paws/slaps way too much when throwing them wild right hands

Khan's speed and comitment to the combinations won him the fight, he stuck to the game plan by listening to his corner job done

Mayweather doesn't knock opponents out anymore. He does not even try to win fights this way. If he did win, it would be by points only.

Stupid thread this why all the hate on Khan his just put in to solid fights against 2 top southpaws and dominated both of them while at the same time cutting out old mistakes like jumping in and staying in the pocket 2 long exchanging, i think Amir is comming on very nicely under Virgil and is ready for a shot at the best , has he not?

This is what happens when you get outboxed - you look pedestrian and simply do not get an opportunity to use your skills. Khan did that to him.

please watch some of the fight on youtube set to .25 on the speed when he is throwing his combinations watch his feet especially

Khan despite all his speed has a lot of flaws still and a talented fighter at the top level will have plenty of openings to counter of course that all depends on their abilty to time and negate his speed but the chances are there

he has improved anyone with 2 eyes can see that he needed someone to reign him in and calm him down.thats all looking good right now but lets see how he gets on when he is forced to fight on the back foot something he CANNOT do imo and not to mention he still has flaws when on the offence it all looks sloppy and uncoordinated when slowed down his speed which is superb is masking that to the naked eye like me and you but to a fighter at the top level they will see them openings

Like him or not, Pacquiao is hardly an easy fight.

For Mayweather, both Khan and Pacquiao represent risky fights. More than any other fighters, both possess abilities (speed, footwork and a touch of unorthodoxy) that give them a decent chance of getting past Mayweather's brilliant defensive shell. No other boxers would even get near.

I agree there are still flaws in his style and alot of the shots he throws in combinations at speed are sloopy at times and he did get tagged 2 or 3 times by both Collazo and Alexander and got away with it cause these guys dont have big time power so there are still ajustments needed , i just feel Khan gets alot of un-due hate , his made big improvements in the past year and i think his ready and earned his shot (i wanna Garcia rematch)

khan is tall and rangy, but he's only a half inch taller than floyd an in fact floyd has a longer reach...so khan's ranginess is not gonna be an advantage against money....the speed differential is what everybody is talking about...but the problem with speed is, it can be neutralized with timing and a good jab...especially since floyd is one of the best at timing guys...and has one of the best jabs around. khan has a good jab too, but he's far from the complete fighter floyd is....and that's what makes the difference.

i'm saying he wasn't doing basic things....like using the jab...and cutting off the ring. instead he kept folllowing khan around in circles. that's not about being outboxed.... it's a question of focus and heart. CLEARLY alexander is no longer a hungry fighter.

Mayweathers jab id hardly call it his best punch , id not put Floyds jab in the top 5 jabs in boxing today.

mayweather doesn't KO guys who outweigh him by 20 or 30 lbs, it's true...but khan is gonna come in at 140 someting....maybe the low 150's. he will feel every shot floyd hits him with. khan has speed, but mayweathers timing and reach and ability to set the tempo will neutralize all that ...add khan's lack of defense and would be target practice for mayweather.
