That was in 2010, at 140 lbs. If Khan didn't KO'd, OR if he took on Alexander in December of 2013, I'd agree with you. But Khan hadn't done anything recently.

You can't use accomplishments from years ago to warrant a fight today. Fact is, Maidana was on a win streak, Khan was not. NOW Khan is a good opponent, in 2013, he was not.

Did you look at Floyd's poll result the majority picked Khan

It was overwhelming and he had already beat Maidana

Chino was picked because he was a come forward plodder ,not because he was more deserving

I don't think Bradley's declining, too early to tell. His next fight should answer that question.

So being a massive underdog and beating undefeated Broner for the WBA title is a joke compared to beating an ancient Collazo(who in his prime was C class at best) and for what?, knocking out Ortiz?

I think it's safe to say that no one can smoke anything to be that silly, you just have to be born one in this case.

I did see the poll, if he were to go by the poll then yes, he should've picked Khan. But the poll doesn't determine who's more deserving. Khan's streak was 2-2, a KO loss and two tune ups. His last fight before the poll was Diaz, some people think he lost. Maidana was like 4-1, 3 KOs, and just embarrassed Broner after his KO streak.

Plus, Khan hadn't even fought at welterweight. Your only argument to get Khan is 1) the poll and 2) Khan beat Maidana in 2010.

Both Khan and Maidana were totally different fighters from 2010 to 2013.

Like I said, I think Khan has earned his shot now, AFTER Pacquiao.

Garcia isn't a puncher?? He's pretty decent with the left hook IMO.

Also Maidana had Khan hurt in RD10 onwards... so you could argue, that was 25% of the fight - certainly nowhere near the whole fight.

You can find videos on Youtube where Garcia is saying he doesn't want to rematch Khan... I'm hopeful that'll happen at some point in their careers. Moreso than the Peterson rematch.

I suspect Khan's next fight will be for the 147 belt with Brook as Floyd and Pacman will be fighting each other. Eddie Hearns will no doubt raise the profile of the fight and it'll probably do quite well in the UK, making both fighters decent money.

Perhaps the winner out of each bout will fight go on to fight against other to make big money.

Didn't Manny get k.o'ed early on his career by Torrecampo and Singsurat? Add Marquez and that' s one more k.o. stoppage than Khan.....
