I don't think I'll ever understand why it matters.

The Showtime card sucked! The main event was barely watchable. Hbo about to make $$$ with Lee and the legions of Irish fans. The Benavidez and Bradley fights nobody really came out a loser and tho the outcomes were controversial, it rose the losing fighters stocks.

Pretty sure your arguing over networks to, fanboy. Instead of asking why PAC fans care so much about hbo maybe u should ask yourself why it bothers u.

HBO card had all competitive close fights, HBO has 30% more viewership so taking that into account SHO did better. Then you got Skysports UK, Al jazeera for Arab countries and PTV ****stan Khan would have had millions and millions of people watching all over the world.

The hbo card was far more entertaining. Thurman was a let down. Khan Alexander was what I expected. A snoozefest. Mares fought a bum. All 3 fights on hbo were fun. I don't care which network has them on...I just want to see good fights.

myself, i think al arabiya covered khan's fight better than al jazeera...but al hurra was more objective.

Thurman can go fist**** himself if he continues to talk about being exciting and delivering KO´s.
Khan Alexander was beautiful boxing, something i like to watch.
    Headbuts do not excite me.

So it comes down to taste.
Overall id say the HBO card had more competitive matchups on paper and in reality.

hbo had two controversial decisions. notice they always have the controversial decisions? i think it's because ppl are listening more than they are watching. hbo is extremely guilty of group think. they all go along with whatever lamps says. it's pathetic.
