no. he's just less susceptible to the left hook from southpaws. when he gets back in the ring with someone who has a decent left hook that isn't afraid to exchange...he'll be back on his ass.
He has a soft chin, no getting away from that at any weight. He also can't fight going backwards and in exchanges he's always at risk of being knocked out.
There's no such thing as moving up in weight and having a better chin. If you are getting dropped and KO'd by people at 140 then you are surely not going to handle the power of WW's better.
Sure if you weren't having problems making weight at 140 and were getting rocked 147 wouldn't help. But if you were losing 13 lbs a day before the weighin in comparison to 2lbs at 147, then it surely would make a massive difference.
