I've just qualified as a PT and I'm looking for my first work placement in a gym/ boxing gym around Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield.

I'm also offering one on one sessions too

If you know of anything or anyone around this area I would really appreciate any info.

I've trained for months and finally got my qualification and I'm currently looking for a gym to work at but it's been difficult. I just need someone to give me a chance.

    Thanks guys.

Was only joking pal, good luck with it.

Ring your local amateur clubs and start from there. You may need to work for free in a boxing club for a while I would think before anyone will start paying you for your service, just a thought.

Best out there gaining experience on the ground for free than not doing anything.

I think you will struggle to walk into a paid job in a boxing gym to be honest pal.

IMO you should maybe try and earn with one to one PT sessions whilst also working for a local gym for free to build up your experience aswell as contacts.

Yeah that kind of my plan tbh. I'm only down the road from the ingle gym and literally 2 mins from shinfields gym so I'll hopefully get some experience there. That would be amazing. It's just about getting out there. Hence why I made the thread. I'll get there...
