Whilst I don't agree with the order I really enjoyed reading that. Nice lightly comic writing style. Also (as a loose relation) great to see the Blacksmith in there!!!
Im guessing honeyghan is ahead of eubank because he went to the the states and beat p4p no1 up Id have duke ahead of haye aswell though
Duke is the most under appreciated British boxer ever! A 3 weight world champion, yet even at the time he couldn't fill half the broadway theatre in catford for a world title fight. Good commentator too, FW should replace Barry Jones with him
Thanks for reading, everyone. Wayne's right about Honeyghan. I did figure that while Eubank didn't duck anyone in the UK, when he was around, so was Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins etc. He was getting well paid fighting for WBO but we'll never know how he would have fared against those guys, whereas Honeyghan, well we know how he did against the best. I agree with Kupid too that Duke was really under appreciated. What a nice guy too. David Haye is much more exciting, but he won't rank among the great heavyweights. He only had 6 fights at that level! As explosive as he is, I don't think his record stands up next to Duke McKenzie's.
