If the old weight divisions were reinstated and there was only one champ per division, who'd be the 8 top dogs when the dust settled?

    HW (unlimited)
    LH (175)
    MW (160)
    WW (147)
    LW (135)
    FW (126)
    BW (118
    FLW (112)

    HW - Wladimir Klitschko
    LHW - Joe Calzaghe
    MW - Kelly Pavlik
    WW - Floyd Mayweather
    LW - Nate Campbell
    FW - Manny Pacquiao
    BW - Israel Vasquez
    FLW - Nonito Donaire

Dunno if Pacquiao or Vasquez could make those limits, and I'd definitely have to rethink this if same day weigh ins were reinstated

    I'm going for:

    HW - Wlad
    LH - Calzaghe
    MW - Pavlik
    WW - Cotto
LW - Witter (if he can make weight)

I don't know enough about the lower weights these days to pick.

This idea could bring respectability back to boxing. Look at those names and the talent. Everyone would know who was the champ. Instead now there are 70 claimants to a world title. What BS!

I agree, but the weights being limited as than, makes it hard for some to fight at their best weight
