...we as fans are the biggest problem. We are so obsessed with "big names" and "unbeaten records" that we ignore so much great stuff the sport gives us. If we stopped and looked at ourselves we'd see we were responsible for a lot of the bull**** that haunts boxing

For example, we tune in to see Garcia Vs Salka, Haymon then thinks we'll tune in next time hteres some bull**** match up.

We support fighters like Mayweather and Pacquiao without blaming both for their bull**** over the last few years

We care more about the likes of the Charlo's than Roman Gonzalez because we refuse to call out the commentators on their bull****

We pretend the lower weights don't matter, because US TV doesn't give them a chance

At the end of the day we need to turn not on fighters and promoters but TV. TV ALLOWS fighters to fight stay busy fight. If Showtime told Garcia he could have a rusty penny and a button to fight Garcia guess what, he wouldn't have the fight.

We are the idiots feeding the bull**** that is professional boxing. We are being lead by the merry men of the US media (HBO/Showtime/ESPN/Ring) and we are to stupid to stand up and take a stand.

Yes and No, most fans aren't aware of the lower divisions enough to know where to find them or tune when they're on, its up to the promoters and television channels to promote them and put on TV where everyone can actually see them, then they may get a slightly larger fanbase and become more popular.

It's not just the lower divisions, is the whole package. We get told the Klitschko's were boxing pretending they the same fighter

We get told both Charlo's are world class when it seems there is a class between them

We listen to Atlas scream robbery every week despite fans scoring it the other way

Promoters are no longer promoters anyway, they are "event organisers", in Britain fighters are expected to sell their own tickets

TBF look at your topics, how many have been ignored because the fighter hasn't been on US TV?

It's the media that has convinced itself and who keep telling us that unbeaten means a future ATG and the only so the only thing that matters

Just like the people who watches The Kardashians and The Jerry Springer's Show.

Here's my problem with boxing. I don't care about promoters. There should be ONE belt per division. This makes sure that fights get made that should be made. Seems like if you fight pro now, they give you gloves, shoes, and a belt. That's the stupid part of our sport, and the heart of alot of the problems associated with it.

Maybe they don't put them on because they know people won't like em.

Most people unfortunately don't care about little guys, therefore no money, which means no TV time.

I'm ok with three belts per division. All this silver and interim is garbage though. One gold, one silver, one bronze belt. One sanctioning body.

Do you, 10 years ago, people would have though a Russian guy at 175 and a Kazakh at 160 would have gotten attention like they do now?

People know about Golovkin because he was given a chance and made the most of it. Guys like Inoue AREN'T given that chance.

Maybe they TV think that Garcia Vs Salka is what fans want to see...right?
