All of this A-side talk from Floyd after he had to give up everything to Oscar for their fight, difference between this fight & Floyd vs De La Hoya is that Pacman brings as much fans to the table as Floyd does & he will take a significant portion of the overall revenue made as he's a star in his own right also when Floyd fought Oscar on Cinco de mayo it made sense because:

1- Oscar is a Mexican-American
2- GBP is owned by Oscar

Floyd has TMT or whatever its called these days but GBP still put on the events & pay his cheques, so if GBP want to put their next star on the date & bump Floyd to June or whatever without it affecting the ppv revenue for Floyd/Pac then whats the problem?

 

That only holds true based on the worth of the commodity. Unfortunately, even if Floyd is the biggest draw in boxing, he's not bigger than Canelo-Cotto. He can call whatever shot he wants, but unless his opponent is Pacquiao he'll be playing second fiddle to Canelo-Cotto. I doubt he wants to go head to head with them on the same date especially with Showtime losing money off of his last 2 fights. In this scenario Floyd is the B side.

 

Because he never wanted to make the fight. People forget that Bob flat out refused to make DLH vs Mayweather and Cotto vs Mayweather. Nobody seems to remember that.

 

They should if Canlo-Cotto snags May 2nd first.
