Admit what? Who is Floyd going to fight next if it's not Khan, or Pac? Canelo and Cotto his 2 other options are booked. I doubt he will fight Garcia. He hasn't even had a fight at 147 yet.

Trust me he will fight Khan, or Pacquiao in May. The Garcia fight is a joke, and even his biggest supporters wouldn't let that slide, especially after the fact that he's coming off a Salka win.

I feel Mayweather would not be confused by the blitzing strafes of Khan. Good fighters don't match work rate with busier guys, they stop the blitz from happening by catching crisply on the way in, beating to the punch with timing, or not being confused while the shots hit their gloves. Chosing the appropriate range to fight is key - you can't fight Khan at long range without an excellent long range attack that will hurt him.

Though this is on a different level, in the amateurs fast busy guys look invincible until they find someone who knows how to take that aspect of the game away and turn it into timing, precision, and checking the assault either before it starts or during its execution. I would have a plan for Floyd against Khan that I expect he would be able to carry out, and it wouldn't rely on being as busy or fast as Khan but on stepping in, not letting the flurries get off, and making sure he paid for overcomitting to an attack of more than a punch or two. I'm sure he has a plan as well with his boxing intellect.

In short, I think he could break him down and stop him, yes.

The biggest issue I have with a Khan as a fighter is that I've never seen him adjust mid fight

Maybe vs Petersen but in his Maidana and Diaz fights he had a massive lead and when the tide turned he couldn't regain control he won basically because he banked enough rounds and survived

He may have adjusted his style to reduce the opportunities he gives opponents but when he does get hit he's the same old khan

He's a rythmn energy fighter and a little bit of a front runner

That said when he gets going he is hard to deal with and had the speed and combos and mobility to be a difficult task but I've never really seen him adjust and really turn the tide when he loses momentum

I can see a younger Mayweather stopping Khan easy, you make good points, and if Floyd at 37 can carry out this plan to succession it just shows that he's truly a top 10 ATG.

So, because Khan destroyed Alexander, he can beat Floyd?

Alexander isn't on Floyd's level. Alexander is one-dimensional.

What does Khan have other than speed?

I'd still pick Floyd, just like I'd pick him over any 140-160 pounder including Golovkin, but that being said I can see Khan giving Floyd a lot of trouble. Khan is extremely long, and he can give Floyd trouble with his high work rate, length, and speed. I'd say Khan is even a tougher fight than Manny for Floyd stylistically.

Floyd makes Khan wear 16 oz pillow gloves, a catchweight at 155, but Floyd won't honor it and instead pay the fines and comes in at 147 while he batters a slower, bloated Khan. Oh yea TBE, sure sure. TBC (The Best Cherrypicker)

He doesn't. Khan's workrate is too high and he has too much speed. Floyd will never fight Khan or Manny, as anyone with any sense knows.
