lol at Fury. He could as well fight Shannon Briggs. At least there would be some pre-fight entertainment.

While he has certainly improved since the loss to Wach, he's still going to have a tough time dealing with Fury's combination of bulk and skills.

The Wach fight was competitive up to ko.
Hammer did not comfortably beat Kevin Johnson in fact it was possible to score it for kevin. I think James Ali Bashir said Kevin won.

Hammer still is a lot better than his record suggests. IMO he has a remote chance. I am suprised Chris took this fight and not hang around hoping to get WBO mando and milk his fanbase.

Anybody taller would have been better prep for Wlad. Ustinov would be perfect. Dunhaups, Towers ok.

Kingpin was more awful than in onther fights. I think he threw 5 punches a round against Hammer, who also looked poor.

quite, You might be able to criticize Wlad the fighter ( usually boring and one sided), but Wlad the boxer doesn't give anyone any unnecessary chances, Wlad the Boxer is in a class of his own.

I don't think there is anyone else who can really Simulate Wlad to pre pair for him. the Heavyweight division is like a big ducking festival, the big guys arn't fighting and learning from big fights.

I think you have to give kudos to Fury for even taking a slightly dangerous fight or even getting one. and even trying to step in the ring with Haye.

Just like it'll be a good thing to see stivern and wilder get it on assuming it happens.

He's never going to fight Wladimir. He's going to wait till Wladimir retires and go for the vacant opportunities. Won't be surprised if his title shot is against Chisora in a third fight.

    Ustinov,Wach,Price,Dimitrenko,big daddy browne,Teper.

You know big boys. 17+ stone 6'4+ big lads. Im a fury fan, but he aint fighting these big lads. And i think he would beat em anyway, just he cant lay on em or outmuscle em, he needs to box em.

  14. fury needs to fight someone meaningful for christ sake, and someone that can PUNCH

Hammer is both meaningful and can punch.

He's also ranked high in the WBO, and is a very credible choice to defend his EBU title against.

Sure, he's not a good warmup for Wlad, but chances are Fury bypasses his chance at Wlad for a higher profile fight vs the likes of Price or Wilder if he should beat Stiverne.

Price is 3-0 since his debacles vs Thompson, which Im positive a 3rd fight would eradicate. My guess is Price gets a shot at Fury before Wlad does, and that's a fight that is STILL a very big domestic level fight for both of those guys.

Should Wilder beat Stiverne, you'd best believe that Fury's gonna be dropping his EBU title, his WBO mandatory status and his fervor for a Wlad fight, and he'll be on the highest mountain calling Wilder out.:lol::lol:
