    Don't agree with that.

A 17 years old being the only Brit boxer to medal at the Olympics, turns pro, has been fighting at world level for years and always in a good fight... he'd certainly be well known whether he was brown, white, black, orange, yellow, or green..

There are plenty of boxers who won Olympic medals but don't get even quarter of the attention Amir Khan does. I will say doing it at a young age helped, but if he was a white kid the media wouldn't care.

Just look at Luke Campbell, gold medal winner and nobody knows who he is.

Not since the Rotherham child $ex abuse scandal, it isn't.

Left wing liberals, the media outlets they follow (the Guardian) and the views they hold (multiculturalism) have been widely discredited since the news of widespread and systematic abuse by P@kistani-heritage males. Plenty of left wingers knew about the abuse, but they all failed to speak up out of fear that they would be labelled racist.

If you want answers as to why Khan has an enduring appeal in the UK and such a high profile in the media, then his race and religion won't help you. Following the scandal, ****stani muslim men from northern English towns are not viewed in a positive light.

    exactly :deal
If Khan was white he'd be virtually unknown, with about 20,000 twitter followers

Look at Fred Evans who also the won silver at the olympic games. 2012. he has no fame whatsoever,

Luke Campbell won GOLD and he doesn't get 5% of the fame Khan has got.

Seems like it's to do with race/ religion. Just like in Boxing.. South Asians are completely hopeless at Football too but could you imagine if a British South asian football player came through and played for a decent premier league team. Even if the guy was Rickie Lambert level and on the bench for England he'd be pushed like crazy in the faces of everyone like Khan has, and be one of the biggest names in football despite not being one of the top players. You know that would happen.

Average??? LOOOOOOOL he's won just the THREE world titles in 2 different weight classes & only lost v 2 guys who were unbeaten at the time he fought them. Yes 50% ko = "feather fisted" ok! The reason he doesn't have a 70-80% ko ratio is cos he fights guys that no one stops. Matthyse, porter, bradley, Kotelnik, maidana. No one stops them. And he's the only guy ever to stop the granite chin urango.

I'm not saying he is. I'm just asking who were the other 2 names that along with Khan are suppose to be the 3 best known to non boxing fans and threw in Fury's name among the possibilities.
