Where do negotiations for Floyd/Pac stand right now or have there been no negotiations from Floyd's side?

As far as I know it's been one-way traffic on Manny's side trying to make it. As I understand it, Les Moonves is in contact with the Mayweather camp and not getting anywhere.

Les Moonves must know that floyd is out to get his $32M fighting less risky fights. Maidana3, Ortiz2 or Guerrero2 for Cinco de Dos.

 

I think Al Haymon is the major issue. He seems to hate having fighters not signed to him in main events.

I know Dan hates Floyd but, I got a bad feeling he's not exaggerating right now...hopefully Floyd comes around after the holidays.

 

Team Pacquiao wants close to 50/50, that's why **** is stalled, they are bluffing because they know this is cash out time for Manny so they are trying to get every penny.

If no Floyd they know Vargas won't sell so they might have to fight a dangerous opponent, he could get ko'd against a puncher at 140/147 so they are going to have to give in.

Floyd is too in love with his zero to take risks now. He's all talk with the "let's do this May 2nd". He has no intention of fighting Pacquiao, unfortunately we will just have to endlessly debate who would have won the fight.

Thanks God the Haglers, Herns, Leonards, etc. weren't so in love with their zero... Think of all of the fights we would have missed.

 

Team Pacquiao wants it yet Arum is crying about Mexican holidays for Mexicans and not having enough time to promote the fight for May.

Come on people, Arum never wanted this fight and now he only wants it if he gets 50 percent.

They could make the fight if they come to a compromise but Arum is weighing in the options if Manny losses if he will be done as a ppv draw, he could lose his golden goose for 1 big payday.

I think it will happen, they need to come up with a compromise something like 40-60 even 37.5/62.5 would work.

Honestly Pacquiao has nothing lined up where he is going to break 400k and Mayweather's numbers have also taken a hit, unless he fight Cotto/Canelo I don't see Maywather breaking 1m.
