Yea,I think logical fans known for a long time which side wants the fight.. when the first round of negotiations began and one side starts with A-SIDE mef... that's a problem...

It's about egos and money. Either that or the whole thing is staged. Out of pride, Arum won't bow to Floyd, and Floyd won't bow to Arum.

Yeah the side that was afraid of needles. The fight was basically signed and fell apart because of blood tests, lets not try to act like Floyd knew they would make such a big stink about drug testing.

"let the commission do their jobs" Remember.

It's not staged, both sides need the fight right now, a few years back it was just posturing. They did the right thing, both guys were selling 1m ppv because people were baited on the fight being next. Now it's time to deliver the overcooked turkey or risk losing the biggest potential payday of alltime.

Both sides just trying to squeeze out every last cent.

Agreed. Anybody who places the blame solely on one side is just biased.

Both sides deserve plenty of blame. But Floyd, as the A-side, is the one who truly has the power to make and demand the fight. Strange that he hasn't.

And regardless of past blame, of which there is plenty to throw all around, if Dan Rafael is to be believed, then the only serious efforts put forth this time around came exclusively from Team Pac.

So even if you hold Pac accountable for a lot of the blame in the past, should he not be commended now, and shouldn't Floyd be receiving all of the blame this time?

I'm sure there are efforts, doesn't mean either side agrees.

I said "if Dan Rafael is to be believed".

So - if Rafael is to be believed - doesn't what I wrote hold true?

Was the last you heard more recent than this? :huh

"As far as I know it's been one-way traffic on Manny's side trying to make it. As I understand it, Les Moonves is in contact with the Mayweather camp and not getting anywhere."

reading through the article im amazed at how biased dan is being. HEAR ME OUT PEOPLE

someone asks about the 40m flat fee offer and how floyd fans jump to that like it was a legit way to make the fight and dan R states he feels it would have been crazy for pac or arum to accept that when the fight would likely gross a **** ton more then that (which i think we all know is undoubtly true), but what bothers me is he just leaves it there? no talk about why bob arum did not even come to the table to negotiate ? in OP's post he talks about les moonves talking to mayweather camp and getting nowhere but the last i heard from les's twitter was him going off at bob arum after attempting to make the fight ?

even pac fans must admit its weird for dan to just report on one side of the story here

Fat Dan isn't impartial, he's had a very public spat with Espinoza going back a few years. I don't even think he talks to the people at SHO.

How can you be a non-biased reporter while only talking to one side? It's not possible, he's only getting 1 side of the story.
