That's why ward will never step to LHW and face kov who is way too strong for excessive clinching. Kov would shrug him off and beat the **** out of him.
There should definitely be rules (or rather they should be enforced more by the refs) against excessive clinching and headbutting, too many boxers get away with that, Ward's a very skilled fighter obviously but it'd be more interesting to see him win with actual skill rather than dirty tactics (like several other great boxers in the game now) which is why I'm not really a big fan of him.

People forget about Ward due to the fact he hasn't boxed in a year and think he's some bum. Ye guys are like TMZ changing every day. Y'all thought Porter was the ish and then loses to Brook and now he's a bum. Ward is the most unbeatable man in Boxing. He just so happens to be in the top 5 of current crop in terms of technical ability too. The guy does not know how to lose.
Ward is a boxer that feels he's too good to box. How long has it been since his last fight? I don't care about his promoter. When he does fight it's just an attempt at getting away with everything he can. How everyone stays awake during his fights is beyond me.
